1. Buy Fresh Ingredients

Too many people eat processed and frozen foods every single day rather than fresh alternatives that are often more nutritious- and more delicious. Instead of buying frozen foods from your local supermarket all the time just because it saves you time, there are other options. If you can afford to, you should try to opt for fresh ingredients that can help you to get all of the minerals and vitamins that you need without any of the added chemicals or unhealthy substances. Then, it would help if you considered looking around for a local fresh fish delivery that can help you to get the fresh fish that you need to add to meals and your favorite dishes.

2. Wake Up Earlier

If you often find that you have a lie-in everyday and that this is starting to make you feel groggy and fatigued, you should consider waking up at least one hour earlier every day. Although you should make sure that you still fit in 8 hours of sleep a day, waking up just that little bit earlier can help to make you feel more focused and productive and can help you to fit more activities into each day. Not only this, but this may also give you the option to sit back and relax for an hour before work. If this is something you want to do, you should invest in an alarm clock and ensure that it is set for an appropriate time before you go to sleep, or you should use a sleep app that can wake you up at the best time in your sleep cycle.

3. Drink More Water

A vast proportion of Americans are chronically dehydrated because they do not drink enough water throughout the day. Instead of disregarding your need to drink water, you should force yourself to drink between six to eight glasses of water a day. If this does not come naturally to you, you should ensure that you always have a full glass of water next to you and that you invest in a good smart water bottle that can monitor your water intake. If you do not like the taste of water, you should consider investing in an infuser water bottle that can allow you to flavor the water that you drink.

4. Smile More

If smiling is not something that you do often, you should fix this, even if you manufacture smiles by fake smiling or by watching a funny TV show or movie that can encourage you to laugh and smile. You should also try calling a friend or meeting up with a loved one to see whether this can get you to smile more. Smiling is key to a great lifestyle as it releases endorphins, dopamine, and serotonin around your body, which can help to reduce pain and stress levels and increase your happiness.
